The Thetis Island Community Association is a registered charity, maintaining the Community Centre and grounds for the use of Thetis Islanders

The Centre includes Forbes Hall, the Hunter Room (including the library), and the Community Kitchen. The grounds include a multi-purpose playing surface which can be used for tennis, as a general play area, or an outdoor venue for community events.


The Thetis Island Community Association is a non-profit, charitable organization run by volunteers. Forbes Hall is used extensively by a variety of island groups, and most of these events and activities are open to all.  Some of the current uses are:

The Community Centre truly is the centre for the Thetis Island Community, and is used, loved and supported by its members. All other T.I.C.A. activities and fund-raisers, including membership, the Quarterly and the community website, are in support of maintaining the Hall and Grounds for community use.
